How did it start?
Every good idea starts with a dream. We wanted our chickens to live as naturally as possible – to roam freely, to scurry in the beds, to bask in the sun and to eat 100% natural food.
Unfortunately, most of the food on the market is imported, processed, or full of ingredients that are difficult to pronounce. In our search for a solution, we came across black soldier fly larvae – heroes of the circular economy. These insects turn food waste into a rich source of protein and calcium.
What started as a small experiment in the backyard grew into a larger mission – to help every chicken farmer feed their flock naturally while reducing food waste.

Founder's story
Wiggly founder Jörgen left a successful career in banking to live among nature and chickens. After years of sitting in an office chair, he decided to enroll in vocational school to study poultry farming and started raising chicks!
What started as a small experiment in my parents' basement soon grew into a big vision – to produce the world's most sustainable chicken snack for chicken farmers who raise their flocks freely and close to nature.
